We've known Marina for quite a while, as we used to hang out during college. But, after meeting Hunter,we feel like we've known him just as long. They are a fabulous couple and two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. We started out our session with dinner and a few beers in downtown Clemson and I'm now convinced that this is how every session should start! Maggie and Jonathan's Wedding

Jenny and I met Maggie and Jonathan at a wedding that we photographed about a year and a half ago, and we were thrilled when Maggie contacted us about shooting hers. This couple is all about Clemson, so it wasn't hard for us like them. The Clemson theme was peppered throughout the wedding and of course the Tiger showed up at the reception to get everyone dancing. The ceremony was held at Old Stone Church in Clemson with the reception following at Keowee Key Clubhouse. We had a blast working with them and everything went off without a hitch thanks to Susan Sanford and her crew at Willrich Bridal. We hope that you enjoy a few of our favorites!

Although Ann and Michael both went to Daniel, they did not start dating until they reconnected in college. They were married last month at the Owen Pavilion in Clemson with a reception following in the same location. The flowers and table decorations were done by Ann's family and they were fantastic. But, what topped the decorations was the band. The Tony Howard Experience put on an awesome show that had everyone invited up and dancing. They were so good that it seemed more like a concert with all the guests pressed right up to the band. And the excitement was only doubled when they brought out A. J. to sing a few current hiphop songs. The night ended with the newly-weds departing by boat and a little Widespread Panic. Enjoy a few of our favorites from the day.

Jordan and Ashley were married last month in Fort Mill, SC at The Dairy Barn. The Dairy Barn was an cool location and I'm kind of glad that the threat of rain moved the ceremony into the barn area. The reception was kicked off by the newly weds putting on a great show with their first dance. The dancing continued on through the night thanks to a great job by The Singing DJ out of Charlotte. All in all, everyone had a blast including Jenny and myself. Enjoy a few of our favorites.

Kari Beth and Andrew were married last month at Andrew's parent's home in Williamston. Jenny and I had a blast photographing this wedding. The dress was casual and everyone seemed to have a great time. Spirits could not even be dampened by an afternoon thunderstorm. The toilet paper decorating the get-away car was the only thing damaged by the rain. We hope that you enjoy a few of our favorites from the day.

Rachel and Jake

Rachel has been commuting to see Jake, who lives near Charleston, for some time now. They finally got tired of all the traveling and decided to just get married. But, when they first met with us, Jake had still not given a ring to Rachel, so they were technically not engaged yet. Towards the end of our shoot, we were out on some of Rachel's family's land in Long Creek and Jake dropped down to one knee and pulled out the ring. Rachel was ecstatic and, of course, said yes all over again. How often do you get to photograph the actually moment of engagement? It was great! Oh yeah, Jake did not tell us anything about it. Enjoy a few of our favorites!

Jenny and I traveled down to Charleston to photograph this wonderful couple in April. Scott actually graduated from The Citadel and he proposed to Katie on Folly Beach, so Charleston seemed like the natural place for their engagement photos. We started out at Battery Park and the surrounding streets and then traveled out to Folly Beach. Once there, we turned left and drove until the road ended. We then walked a little ways out towards the Morris Island Lighthouse, which I never knew existed. Fun fact: The lighthouse is actually about 300 feet out into the water. We had absolutely gorgeous weather for this shoot and it culminated with a perfect sunset. We're looking forward to Scott and Katie's wedding in August! Enjoy a few of our favorites!

Jenny and I photographed this lovely couple at the Botanical Gardens in Clemson back in the beginning of April. The weather was absolutely perfect! Low 70s, a little bit of cloud cover, and everything was beginning to green up. We're crossing our fingers in hopes of similar weather for their wedding in October. It poured buckets of rain on the day of Emily and Jared's wedding but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits. Actually there was a break in the rain following the ceremony until the couple left the reception, so Jenny and I were able to get some outdoor shots. Emily and Jared's wedding ceremony was held at St. Mark's in Seneca, SC and the reception followed at Clemson's Outdoor Lab. The beautiful flowers were provided by Margaret and her gang at Tiger Lily in Clemson.

Jenny and I were also totally jealous of the newly-weds as there honeymoon consisted of two weeks in New Zealand! I'm still waiting to see photos from their trip. Here are a few photos from their wedding day.

Here is our plan. We've been revamping our website for about a week now, and it is finally ready to launch. With the new website, we've decided to add a blog so everyone can see what we're up to. For example, I'm going to post some pics that we took yesterday in our neighbor's field. We had some family fun pics, and my favorite one is the one of Wylie kissing me. Jacob said that after we get the website up and running, he's going to post some pictures that he took over the holiday break. He had some wonderful family shots, and we also shot a wedding in December. Those pics should be coming soon. Until then, here are our family fun field pics. Hmm...alliteration?
